Where this all started:
In the late 90s, there wasn’t much access to hear Contemporary (and Rock) Christian music around the area I was living in at the time. I had a huge love of this music. Listening to this type of music was encouraging for me and brought me joy. I wanted to share this joy with others.
God laid it on my heart to start a Christian radio station. Although I didn’t know it then, God had already inspired Billy to take a radio broadcasting class. This was just the beginning of where God was leading for what would eventually be JBKC New Life Radio.
Fast forward several years…Billy and I meet, start dating, and get married. One day, Billy came home from work and told me that God had laid it on his heart for JBKC New Life Radio. We prayed and followed God’s leading for how He wanted the radio station to be.
And…here we are today!!! JBKC New Life Radio first went on the air in 2013. We are excited about what God’s doing. To God be the glory!!!
